About Us
Hanover Hawkeye Wrestling was established in 2009 by Chad Harris, Dave Epperly and Robert Buchanan. The club was founded to be a feeder program for the Hanover County Schools, but has grown to providing training for all central Virginia. The club operates year round with sessions, camps and clinics for all experience levels.
The mission of the club is to give local wrestlers of all experience levels, beginner to advanced, the best possible opportunity to grow as a wrestler.
In March 2011, Hanover Hawkeye opened their own 3,000 square foot facility in the Hanover County Air Park, which provides ample flexibility and opportunity for the room to be open for our wrestlers. The facility is outfitted with wall-to-wall mats and fully padded walls.
Our coaching staff continues to evolve with experience as former wrestlers return after college to coach at Hawkeye. We always maintain around 10 coaches at anytime. See below for more information.
